Dr. Littmann is a clinical psychologist who works with children, adolescents and families, and as a consultant to schools on ways to help at-risk children and their parents. She created and directed a school-based Children's Day Treatment Program for the South Carolina Department of Mental Health, and has extensive experience teaching and supervising clinical psychology interns and psychiatry residents in the areas of diagnosis and treatment. Dr. Littmann interned at Judge Baker Children's Center, an affiliate of Harvard Medical School. In addition, she was a top-ranked women's epee fencer who represented the United States at the World Championships, and is a nationally known fencing coach and sports psychologist.
