Dr. Olson is a public health professional specializing in behavioral health and health communications. She teaches in the Department of Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School. Before joining the Center, she worked as a strategic communications consultant for Hoffmann-La Roche, focusing on health-related behavior change. She has served as an independent consultant to clients such as the Public Health Institute, Time Warner, Interpharma, and the Office of the U.S. Surgeon General. She is also an award-winning documentary producer on health-related topics and the ghostwriter of two New York Times best-selling books on healthy living.
